Gaynor has over 35 years of industry experience and is one of our longest-serving team members. Celebrating her 7th year with us in 2025, Gaynor is well known in the industry as "Mrs. Latin Routes." Her passion for Latin America began in 2016 when, as a travel agent, she joined Latin Routes’ inaugural familiarisation trip to Argentina and Brazil. Since then, she has explored many incredible destinations, including Costa Rica, Chile (with Easter Island), Ecuador, the Galápagos, and Peru - where she has visited Machu Picchu three times. Julia is covering Scotland, London, and the South of England and she has always been passionate about Latin American culture. Having studied Spanish at university she developed a deep appreciation for the region’s incredible biodiversity, wildlife, landscapes, and vibrant cultures. Her favourite destinations are Chile and Argentina – it’s hard to beat the idea of visiting the world’s driest desert and towering glaciers on the same trip!
