Journey through the unforgettable Peruvian Amazon
The Aria Amazon will take you to one of the most incredible places on Earth - the Peruvian Amazon. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore on foot, on skiff rides and by kayak, meet local communities, search out some of the regions incredible wildlife and simply sit back, relax and appreciate your natural surroundings. On this four-day journey starting in Iquitos, you will enter the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, cruise the beautiful Lake Clavero, explore the backwaters of the Yanallpa River and visit the Amazonian Manatee Rescue Centre.
Aria Amazon also offers five or eight-day itineraries that allow guests to get even deeper into the Amazon region, to more remote locations. Routes and excursions vary between the high and low water seasons, but whenever you travel, you are guaranteed to have the trip of a lifetime with fantastic scenery and an excellent level of service from the crew.
Itinerary
Day 1: Iquitos introduction and embark ship.
Day 2: Early morning birdwatching on the Amazon, morning skiff ride on Yanayacu Yacapana River. Evening boat excursion in search of nocturnal wildlife.
Day 3: Morning birdwatching, visit an Amazonian village, swim, kayak, or canoe on the Yanayacu-Pucate River. Afternoon jungle hike.
Day 4: Nuata – early morning market visit, disembark and visit the Manatee Rescue Centre
Prices from £3,449 per person
Price based on two people sharing a cabin on the first deck. Cabin upgrades are available, please speak to your Travel Specialist. Itinerary varies between high and low-water seasons.
Price based on cruise-only, to add flights from your local airport and additional pre and post-cruise arrangements, please speak to your Travel Specialist
