The Delfin III is one of the Peruvian Amazon’s most luxurious cruises. Watch the sunset over the upper reaches of the planet’s mightiest river, swim with pink river dolphins, taste some of Peru’s finest delicacies, take skiff rides and hikes through the contrasting dense jungle and crystal blue waters of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve on the lookout for wildlife. What makes the ship special is that it is Peruvian owned and does a lot to support the local communities. Delfin III is also one of the first-ever Relais & Chateaux boats, bringing exceptional gastronomy to the pristine surrounds of the Amazon.
The Delfin III operates four, five and seven day itineraries sailing from Iquitos. The ship has 22 suites, across three levels of comfort, each offering a luxurious stay with floor to ceiling windows allowing guests to make the most of the passing scenery. The upgraded cabins benefit from a sitting area, while the spacious Owners Suite has 180-degree windows and guests receive a complementary spa treatment too. Communal areas include an elegant dining room, lounge, gym, spa and sundeck with plunge pool.
Families with children aged seven years and older are welcome on all departures. Children aged 11 or under are eligible for a discount off the standard adult rate.
