Tucano Amazon Cruise

The M/Y Tucano offers four, six or seven-night cruises up the Rio Negro and into the Amazon River itself, visiting several different kinds of rainforest along the way. Excursions include canoe trips, forest walks, piranha fishing, nocturnal wildlife spotting, swimming in the river and visits to isolated farms and settlements. The Tucano is a comfortable and fun way to experience the exotic sights and sounds of the Amazon River and rainforest.

The Tucano has a main salon decorated in an 19th-century style steamship with wood paneling and brass lamps, surrounded by windows and balcony so guests can enjoy the views whilst dining. The top deck is open and has a large sun canopy - a wonderful, shady place to spot wildlife or soak in the vastness of the Amazon.

All of the nine cabins are comfortable and have a private en suite. Most cabins have individual beds while some have bunk beds, there are also single cabins available too. Meals are simple, homecooked fare with the onboard chef making good use of the wonderful fruits, fish and flavours unique to the Amazon.
