Cachi is a little gem of a town and makes for a perfect stop on a self drive circuit that would take in Cafayate and Molinos. In Cachi there is also a few local bodegas that produce wine that are well worth a visit on holiday to Argentina. The most famous of the wines produced here is White Torrontes, however the area also produces a unique variety of Malbec too. The town itself has a lovely feel to it, with a few relaxed restaurants, some nice boutiques and daily life that gives a great insight into the region.
