The Area
Placencia & Hopkins are authentic Belizean villages along the coast of Belize. Placencia is located on the southern tip of the Placencia peninsula, whilst Hopkins is further south on the coast. Both are home to beautiful beaches perfect for
swimming and snorkelling, as well as opportunities to be immersed in Garifuna experiences, such as traditional Garifuna drumming.
Placencia is also a great spot for fishing, with plenty of marlins, sailfish and other saltwater species.
Best Time To Go
The best time to visit Belize's coast and cayes is December to May, this is typically the dry season. During this time you will experience warm temperatures.
