Pura Vida Family Holiday 13-Day Itinerary
Days 1 UK - Central Valley
On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in the Central Valley, situated right in the heart of Costa Rica surrounded by beautiful mountains, volcanoes and cloud forests, yet just 30 minutes from San Jose International Airport.
Days 2 - 4 Tenorio
Transfer to Rio Celeste Hideaway, a gorgeous retreat surrounded by the rainforest where you'll likely see sloths, monkeys, lizards, frogs and tropical birds while in the hotel grounds. Enjoy a chocolate & cacao farm tour, a night walk in search of nocturnal wildlife and a hanging bridges tour of the treetops where sloths and monkeys play.
Days 5 - 7 Monteverde
Senda Monteverde Cloud Forest is home for the next three nights, this misty forest shelters thousands of animals and plants, not to mention an array of exciting activities. Discover the treetop walkways of the pristine cloud forest and get up close to the canopy and its inhabitants, then wander through one of the largest butterfly gardens in the Americas.
Days 8 - 11 Tamarindo
The final four nights are saved for relaxing on the golden beaches of Tamarindo, however there are many activities available here for those that can’t sit still. Stay at the Westin Reserva Conchal, an idyllic family-friendly All-Inclusive resort with beach access, kids club, variety of restaurants and bars plus range of activities and entertainment.
Days 12 - 13 Tamarindo - UK
Transfer from Tamarindo to San Jose International airport for your return overnight flight to the UK.
