Galapagos Islands

Located 900km off the coast of Ecuador mainland is the unique archipelago of volcanic islands called the Galapagos Islands. Home to an incredibly unique eco system, the Galapagos Islands allows you to be amongst some of the most unique species of animals and birds in the world. Mindo Cloud Forest

Head 2 ½ hours north of Quito and you will discover Ecuador’s cloud forest and area that is very famous for unique views and amazing birds. There are a small selection of places to stay from the rustic to the luxurious but each day you spend here will be rewarded with ever changing views and an abundance of wildlife in an area that feels a little more off the beaten track. Cuenca

Cuenca is a fascinating colonial city full of charm and character - so much so it has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A little more intimate and charming than its rival Quito, a visit to Cuenca will be well rewarded with an abundance of handicrafts, flowers and souvenirs from the cities endless boutiques and markets. Banos

Adventures lovers should head to Banos in the heart of Ecuador’s “Volcano Alley.” Here the attractive village offers some great views of the surrounding area but here you will find any number of adventure activities including white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, walking and mountain biking. Stay a day or spend the week, there is so much to do in this great place.

Quito

Quito is a big and bustling city and full of great attractions and Ecuadorian spirit. The historic district is full of charm and has UNESCO World Heritage status. Amazon Rainforest

Fly to the town of Coca and you will find here the gateway to the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador. It is argued that Ecuador is the best place for wildlife in the whole of the Amazon Rainforest and it is certainly home to an abundance of birds, monkeys, caiman and more.
