‘Huaso’ - Unlike the cowboys in Argentina who call themselves gauchos, Chilean cowboys are known as huasos. If you're fortunate enough to visit the Chilean countryside, you might get the chance to visit a ranch and see the huasos in action!

‘Luca’ - "Una luca" means 1,000 pesos. To impress the locals, use this phrase when shopping in the local markets.

‘Cachai?’ - Chileans use this phrase frequently, and it means "Am I right?" or "Do you know what I mean?" It's commonly used at the end of statements, and you'll impress any Chilean by using it correctly.
