The 2016 biopic "Neruda" follows the life of poet Pablo Neruda and his wife Dalia, who go into hiding due to his controversial political views during the 1940s and 1950s. The film features scenes from Valparaíso, Santiago, and the mountainous Araucanía Region. 

"The Motorcycle Diaries," based on the book of the same name, chronicles the journey of revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara and his friend from Buenos Aires, through Patagonia, up to Valparaíso and the Atacama Desert, and into Peru.

‘Cachai?’ - Chileans use this phrase frequently, and it means "Am I right?" or "Do you know what I mean?" It's commonly used at the end of statements, and you'll impress any Chilean by using it correctly.
