Day 1 - Arrive in San José

Arrive in Costa Rica’s capital and transfer to the elegant Grano De Oro for the night, a former colonial mansion in the heart of San Jose.

Days 2 & 3 - Bajos del Toro

Travel to Bajos del Toro for a two-night stay in one of Costa Rica’s finest luxury eco-lodges. Tucked away between the valleys and waterfalls, El Silencio Lodge & Spa is a beautiful retreat that celebrates and preserves the biodiversity of its natural home.

Enjoy an immersive cultural tour of the Bajos del Toro village. Visit an orchid garden and the local school, and learn how to make authentic tortillas. Spend the rest of your time in the area simply relaxing on your private veranda, complete with a jacuzzi, enjoying the uninterrupted views of the surrounding nature.

Days 4 & 5 - Arenal

Head to Arenal for two nights at the impressive Amor Arenal Hotel. At the foothills of the volcano and with breathtaking views of the rainforest, Amor optimises its privileged location by harbouring a series of enigmatic walking trails and natural springs within its sprawling complex. Your time here is your own to explore the pristine natural environment solo or with the aid of expert naturalists on hand. Many, however, prefer to just enjoy the wonderful facilities at the hotel, relaxing in the idyllic setting or partaking in one of the many wellness treatments available to guests. Other options include an evening hike to observe the nocturnal habits of the wildlife and an authentic Costa Rican dining experience complete with campfires and locally sourced ingredients.

Days 6 - 8 - Santa Teresa

Spend three nights at the superb Nantipa Hotel, a boutique retreat in Santa Teresa with a barefoot luxury ambience. 15 eco-friendly luxurious bungalows are spread over the tropical foliage smattered with woven hammocks adding to the quintessentially coastal vibe. Spend your days here relaxing on the idyllic beach and enjoy prime sunset views from the comfort of plush, oversized beach pillows. Alternatively opt to engage with one of the many excursions available at the hotel, including catamaran trips, day hikes, canopy tours, and horse-riding along the coast.

Day 9 - San Jose

Your last night in Costa Rica is spent in the Central Valley, just outside San Jose in the beautiful Finca Rosa Blanca. Set on a lush organic coffee farm with beautiful views of the surrounding verdant highlands, it provides a tranquil respite at the end of your holiday. Relax in the spring-fed infinity pool, take a stroll through the peaceful tropical gardens, or take a coffee tour at the plantation and sample their renowned produce.

Enjoy a leisurely morning enjoying the facilities at Finca Rosa Blanca before being transferred to the airport in San Jose for your onward flight.
